Foundation- My Favourites and Which to Choose

Hey everyone!

Today’s post is similar to concealer post that I did the other day.

I know that foundation can be hard to find and I’m here to help!

Normal/Dry-

Rimmel Wake Me Up.

This foundation is a great brightening foundation to give a beautiful glow. It has a great coverage and subtle scent. As always Rimmel makes great foundations which I love.

As I have oily skin, this didn’t last on my skin much, which is a shame but would suit many other skin types or may work for you.

Dry/Normal/Combination-

Mac Studio Fix Fluid.

I have tried this foundation and I really liked the finish and the coverage. However, it didn’t last that long on my skin and it oxidised. Although, many people love this for oily skin.

It comes with a great amount although I bought a pump because it was a bottle which I didn’t mind, but I’d rather a pump.

Overall, I liked the finish and I have tried this on friend and it lasted really well, they had dry skin.

Oily-

Estée Lauder Double Wear-

This is my all time favourite foundation because of the lasting power and finish.

It has a great coverage and finish, not too matte or dewy. The lasting power is phenomenal and I can’t believe that I’ve finally found a foundation that lasts around 10 hours.

There is nothing but good things to say about this foundation and I’m so happy with it. Definitely worth every penny.

Rimmel Match Perfection.

This is a brilliant foundation which is super affordable. The longwear is brilliant and the coverage is great. This gives a dewy finish but still lasts throughout the day.

This is a lightweight foundation and is good for all skin types actually.
