New Real Techniques Miracle Eraser Sponges- First Impressions

Hey everyone!

Today’s post is a first impressions of the Real Techniques Mini Eye Sponges that came out a couple of days ago. I am super excited to share my first thoughts of them with you so you can decide, are they for you?

These sponges are minis of Real Techniques’ Miracle Complexion Sponge, which I know that a lot of people love, including myself. It has the same point and flat edge, however it has a tiny edge, which you will see in the picture, made for wiping away fallout from eyeshadow, which is a bonus.

They are very small, but expand a little when dampened with water.

Brand: Real Techniques

Price: £5.99

Quantity Per Pack: 2 mini sponges

Pros-

  • This wipes away eyeshadow fallout easily

If your eyeshadow falls below your eyes, this easily wipes away with the sponge. This is great if your eyeshadows are chalky or you like to wear more dramatic looks.

  • It blends small areas seamlessly and smoothly, especially undereyes

I usually blend my concealer in with this and it is so much easier! This is my favourite way to use this sponge. Also, it’s good for around the nose area.

  • They are super soft

Just like the complexion sponges, they are super soft and easy to blend. They are bouncy, especially when wet and this creates a flawless finish.

  • They are even better when damp

When damp, these sponges blend everything so quickly, which is brilliant, especially if you are in a rush.

  • You get 2 in a pack

Always a bonus!

Cons-

  • They feel quite delicate

They feel quite delicate so I’m not too sure how long they will last, but I will try to let you know!

Size

They are very small but come in handy when blending in hard to reach areas. This is a size comparison to the face sponge and the beauty blender.

Left to right- Dry sponge, Damp sponge, Beauty Blender, Miracle Complexion sponge.

This is the size when one sponge is damp and one sponge is dry.

Overall,

These sponges are definitely something nice to have and to use in your makeup collection or routine. If you feel like you need or could benefit from them, I definitely recommend them!

when it comes to non-beauty blenders, i’ve found that the only makeup sponge that works is the real techniques one. i haven’t tried the mini, yet, but i’ve been in the market for an undereye sponge — i must check this out!

You did a great job giving all the information that I would want know in order to buy this product.
I love my beauty blender and I haven’t used anything else before but I think it might be time to finally try them out. The best part is the price of a real techniques sponge compared to a beauty blender
