How To Keep Blogging Throughout The Holidays- Blogmas Day 10

Hey everyone!

Welcome to Blogmas Day 10! In today’s post I am telling you my tips for keeping your blog running consistently at one of the most busiest times of the year, the Christmas Holidays! Whether you have lots of work to do, loads of presents to buy or just simply don’t have a lot of time during ‘The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!’. I am here to help!

Take Photos In Bundles

If you find that taking photos take a long time, when you have a little bit of spare time, round everything up which you will need for your future posts, see next tip, and take pictures of everything. Also, if you have time, edit them so they are completely ready to go up on a blog post when you write it in barely any time.

Dedicate around half an hour to an hour one day and just do a mini photoshoot, you will feel a lot of pressure taken off you as well because taking photos can be hard sometimes because of the lighting. This tip also has other benefits because the lighting of your photos will be very similar for a bulk of your photos in a row. If you think that makes a consistent blog, there you go!

Take A Notebook EVERYWHERE

Have you ever been out somewhere and sat down for a little time and had nothing to do? Well, if you keep a notebook in your handbag, you can write anything down, wherever you are! Personally, I find that I think of more ideas when I am out and about, I really don’t know why, but maybe it’s the same for most people. If you don’t want to take a notebook or if you forget one, you can always use the notes section on your phone! This can make you more prepared during the holidays because you will not have to spend loads of time thinking of ideas.

Pre-planning Posts

Using a planner, like the one I have from Zoella Lifestyle, can really help you organise posts and not become stressed about which posts you are writing and when they are going up. This will really help with pre-writing posts as well because you will know what to write. The last tip is really useful to pair with this as you will be super organised.

Pre-writing Posts

This may seem super obvious, but pre-writing posts anywhere from a day to a month away can really help with being stress-free and you will not have to worry about writing posts quickly and rushing through it to get it posted on time.

Have Posts Ready

When you have a bit of spare time, pre-write a few posts but don’t schedule them. Keep them as back up posts just in case something happens and you do not have time to write a whole post and upload it. All you have to do is press upload and you have a post up on time, without having to rush through one quickly.

Don’t Stress!

My last tip for today is to not stress! Have fun, relax and if you miss a post, you really don’t have to panic!

Thank you so much for reading, I hope this helps.
