Affordable Facial Cleansing Brush!

Hey everyone!

Today’s post is a review of the Marks and Spencer Formula Facial Cleansing Brush. This was £22.50 and I bought in in store. When I first saw this I couldn’t believe that there was a facial cleansing brush for under £30. I went home and did some research and I read the reviews and they seemed pretty positive. I then went and bought it and when I first tried it, I was so impressed so here I’m going to tell you my thoughts.

This brush has two speeds; a low setting and a high setting. I like to use the low setting all over my face for a more gentle cleanse and the highest setting on the more oilier and spot prone places like my forehead, chin and nose for a deeper cleanse. The bristles are so soft but exfoliate really well.

This exfoliates the skin really well, allows the skin to give you a smooth makeup application (always good!) and makes your skin look much more fresher and visibly cleaner. I have had this for a couple of weeks now and I use it every other day/ every two days depending on how much I think my skin needs a good exfoliation.

Even though I have oily skin, this does dry my skin out a little so I have purchased a Soap and Glory moisturiser to use with it and my skin honestly thanks me for the brush and the moisturiser. Also the drier my skin, the longer my makeup stays on. Honestly, I hate having oily skin.

I use one or two pumps of my Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean Cleanser and wash that off with a wet washcloth and then apply another pump of that and a small amount of my Soap and Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash. Honestly I just love Soap and Glory too! Then I use the cleansing brush all around my face. I use this on my cheeks and nose first and then use it on my t-zone to help reduce the spread of bacteria over my face from my larger pores and blemishes.

The only thing I would say that I would like this brush to have is the ability to be waterproof. However, the price you pay is perfect for a non waterproof facial brush.

I love the look of this brush. The mint green colour with the white makes it look very sleek and high end, suitable for all ages. If you like to take care care of your skin, then I definitely recommend purchasing this as a treat to yourself as it is one of the only cheaper ones that I know of.

You can purchase replacement heads in packs of two for £6 which is really good so bacteria does not spread around your face, causing blemishes and acne.

If you are thinking about trying one of the more expensive ones, maybe try this one out first as they feel so much more different to what I expected.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you have enjoyed!
